Privacy Policy

We collect the information you give us — your name, email, profile details, date of birth (to confirm you're 18 or older; never shown to others), band details, posts, photos, and the messages you exchange with other members — plus basic usage data needed to run the app. If you choose to verify your phone number or school email, we keep the number or school it confirms. We use your approximate location, or the city you enter, to show bands and musicians near you. This information is stored on our backend provider, Supabase, and is used to operate BandSeek and help you get discovered.

Your discovery settings control whether and how you appear to other members. Messages are visible to the members in the conversation. We do not sell your personal information, and we don't share it except as needed to run the service or to comply with the law.

You can edit your profile at any time, and you can delete your account from inside the app (Settings → Account → Delete Account). Deleting your account permanently removes your profile, bands, photos, and messages from our systems. Questions or requests about your data? Contact legal@bandseek.co.
